Intelligent Voice Gateway

Serving as the foundation of sentitO’s Open Network Xchange (ONX) architecture, the award-winning IVGTM combines a VoIP media gateway with call control logic to help global service providers roll out Voice over IP services and transport across their entire customer base in less time, with less money and with better quality and reliability than their competitors.

The IVG is the ideal solution for carriers with growing businesses who no longer wish to "rack and stack" lower-density voice gateways, but who also don't require higher-density switching solutions. Carriers can begin with ISDN PRI connections and then move to lower-cost SS7 IMT connections. The IVG provides application flexibility in a highly-scalable platform.

The IVG scales from 16 to 192 T1s (12 to 144 E1s) in a single chassis and supports up to 4608 concurrent calls across its 120 Gbps switch fabric. A standard 7' rack supports up to 13,824 simultaneous calls.

The IVG™ is more than a carrier-class VoIP gateway. It is a highly-scalable platform designed for successful market defense and expansion.

Only the IVG with ElasticEdge™ technology provides open, SIP- based control of SS7 IMT and ISDN PRI interfaces. Service providers can add feature server, billing servers and session border controllers and immediately provide wholesale longdistance, calling
card, and other voice services over a single IVG. In short, the IVG ensures voice application and revenue diversity beyond the competition.

The IVG is purpose-built for carrier-class VoIP deployments. The NEBS and TSIcompliant IVG delivers hot-swappable modules, 1:N redundancy on all gateway cards and 1:1 redundancy on all network cards. The IVG provides enhanced QoS mechanisms and can be counted on to deliver unparalleled reliability while delivering multiple carrier VoIP applications throughout distributed, global deployments.
